This is the study of traditional martial
    arts.  Throws, strikes, pressure points, and
    chokes are applied utilizing the attackers
    motion for effective self defense.  Combining
    these elements results in extremely effective
    and comprehensive martial arts training.  
        A variety of physical and mental training
    methods are utilized for comprehensive
    martial arts training.  Individual training
    builds the physical foundation for the study of
    martial arts. Work with partners and groups
    develops understanding of application, and
    trains the mind and body for instinctive
    response.   Self-defense applications are
    fundamental to the understanding of
    traditional martial arts in modern times.  This
    includes the study of a wide range of self-
    defense situations, and attacks, as well as
    understanding of proper response depending
    upon the level of threat.
           In addition to highly effective self
    defense, immediate benefits to this type of
    training are physical exercise, and mental
    clarity.  Over time, the practice becomes a
    "moving meditation," and opens many doors
    for further insight.  
               The  karate and jujitsu techniques of
    which I teach, are taught to me by my Sensei,
    Master Shepherd Reale.
           The Taiji and Qigong systems which I
    teach are taught to me by Master Zhongxian
    Wu, lineage holder to 4 different systems of
    Chinese martial art.

In the past I have taught children's classes (ages 5 - 15). I
regret that, due to time constraints, I am currently only
teaching adults (ages 16 +).
